High Pressure Tanning

High-pressure is the newest development in tanning technology when it comes to tanning beds. Low-pressure tanning beds use tubes that are coated in phosphor, while high-pressure tanning beds use high-energy ultraviolet quartz lamps that are very small and are mounted behind filtered glass. This creates a situation where the ultraviolet light can be controlled, and only a very specific wavelength will come in contact with the persons skin.

High-pressure beds are nearly 100% UV-A, which is the light ray primarily associated with tanning skin. Because the damaging UV-B rays are filtered out, there is far less burning risk, and the rays penetrate far deeper into the skin to tan the melanin. High-pressure tanning beds are superior to low-pressure beds in that they produce a darker, longer lasting tan in a faster time-frame. High-pressure tanning also needs fewer sessions to maintain the tan. Tan Factory proudly offers a large selection of high-pressure tanning beds for you to choose from, which will produce superior results every time.
